Five years already! NIKIÈMA CONSULTS B.V. celebrates its five years of existence at the start of 2025. This anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on the past five years, during which the firm has achieved remarkable results for its partners.
Pursued Mission
I draw inspiration from this quote by the renowned Nelson Mandela: “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world.”
By creating NIKIÈMA CONSULTS, I put my dream into practice: to provide high-quality capacity-building services to actors in various fields, particularly in education and training. NIKIÈMA CONSULTS B.V. is a consultancy firm offering intellectual services to diverse partners upon request. Through this initiative, my major mission is to contribute to the sustainable strengthening of educational and training systems, transforming them into drivers of inclusive and sustainable development.
Proven Resilience
Launched just weeks before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and its numerous constraints, NIKIÈMA CONSULTS demonstrated resilience and exceptional adaptability in the face of adversity.
Indeed, as was the case for many, when I started the firm in January 2020, I could not have foreseen a calamity of such magnitude that would disrupt the global community. However, I successfully rebounded by May 2020, despite the challenges posed by border closures, travel restrictions, lockdowns, quarantines, and more.
Since then, the firm has successfully secured contracts and implemented them with excellence. M Tenders were submitted for assignments aiming at: drafting, implementing, managing, and coordinating projects; conducting specific studies; executing various assignments; and more.
Outstanding Results for Our Partners
With my firm, I have achieved numerous significant development outcomes for our partners. Among these accomplishments, a few stand out:
- The “ONEF Model” for Employment Projections: This model allows Mali’s National Employment and Training Observatory (ONEF), which focuses on the labor market and training, to project employment and/or unemployment based on macroeconomic framework forecasts in Mali.
- The “Field Epidemiology (PFET-Frontline)” Module: Developed to incorporate critical aspects of health promotion during health crises, this module is now part of the training offerings at the National Institute of Public Health (INSP) in Burundi.
- The Strengthened Paramedical Training Curriculum in Burundi, now integrating aspects of adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health (AYSRH).
- Over 700 staff members from partner organizations have had their capacities enhanced, with at least two-fifths of these being women.
- At least 20,000 secondary school students and university students directly benefited from the firm’s interventions.
- Development of project capitalization visuals (films, brochures).
- Establishment of a network of partners.
- And more.
