Ouindinda Nikièma
Director
Ouindinda Nikièma is an education specialist with a wealth of experience in developing and strenghtening the capacity of education and training systems and institutions. Very experienced in the management of projects and programmes, he is familiar with the themes of governance, educational engineering, quality assurance, etc., in the education and training sector. This expertise is the fruit on the one hand of his initial training and teaching practice, and on the other hand because of his various interventions within the framework of numerous projects and programmes in different African countries. In the framework of these initiatives, he fulfilled several roles as director or coordinator, trainer, workshop’s facilitator, advisor or coach.
From 2001 to 2014, he worked for Nuffic. During these 13 years, he was mainly involved in the design, implementation and management of university cooperation and post-secondary education programmes and projects. He held various positions such as program manager, policy officer, and team manager.
From 2014 to 2019, he worked for CINOP, a Dutch consultancy and research agency specialized in technical, vocational education and training (TVET). CINOP operates in Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.
At CINOP, Ouindinda Nikièma served as a senior manager. In this function, he held several positions of director or coordinator of many capacity building projects for the benefit of many clients such as international organizations, ministries, higher education and research institutions, institutions of the secondary and primary education, professional associations and business enterprises.
As of January 1st 2020, Ouindinda Nikièma set up his own consultancy firm in the Netherlands: Nikièma Consults. He now works on its own since then. In his current position of director and founder of Nikièma Consults, he is involved in several international projects. Besides project management and acquisition, he provides expert input in the fields of leaderships and governance, quality assurance, curriculum development, employability.
Before settling in the Netherlands, he began his career in Burkina Faso as a teacher in 1994.
Holder of two Master in Geography and a teaching grade as well, he is a PRINCE 2 certified in project management. Native of Burkina Faso, he has good command of the following four languages: Dutch, English, French, and Mooré (mother tongue).
